My Cherokee has started having power loss problems while driving. It doesn't lose power all the time and it doesn't do it while I am at a steady speed. It seems to have the most problems when I am going up hills. It sometimes does it starting off from a stop while I am trying to gain speed. I have my foot on the gas but it won't go and it chugs like I am running out of gas then it will just kick back to driving normal again. It also makes a horrible pop if I try to push the accelerator too much when it is chugging. Anyone have any idea what the problem is?
