Default Engine mounts

I am trying to install my engine mounts, but the engine moved back and the bracket that is bolted to the motor is slanted and the base where the mount sits, is straight. I am having a hard time . Any suggestions

Are you using a block of wood and a floor jack to support and maneuver the engine around? The oil pan cover has a big X mark that marks were to put the wood and jack. You have to do this gently and slowly, with very small, incremental adjustments until the parts align. Also, your Jeep should not be jacked up or on an incline - it should be flat on the ground, wheels chucks so it doesn't move much while you wrestle with the engine.

How far back has it shifted? You are doing one at a time, yes? The transmission mount can wear out letting the engine move some, too.

Is the bracket still fully attached to the engine, or have the bolts broken?
