Engine missing sometimes?

Default Engine missing sometimes?

i have a 1994 jeep cherokee sport with 4.0l.....when driving down highway it seem like between 55-65 i will notice in rpms and exhaust noise that it will start to miss for a few seconds and go away? it doesnt do it all the time though...what could cause this?

Have you tried new plugs, wires cap and rotor, cleaning the throttle body?

Fuel pump issues perhaps?? O2 sensor?? I would try the simple basic stuff first.

i havent tried anything yet...i figure its something simple i just bought this jeep and runs smooth otherwise i think it could be plug wire or something simple....

Yea, I would just do a good tune-up on her and see if that fixes it, doesn't sound like anything serious. Good Luck.

You must get a good commission from STP. lol

Its probably something simple and a tune up will find/fix the problem. Good luck
