Default Engine Missing

I have recently bought my first Jeep, it's a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 4x4. It has a horrible miss at idle and low rpms. What is everything I need to check?
Thank You

Welcome!

Start by pulling the codes. Many auto shops will read them for you.

Yea, I went to Autozone. They let me borrow a code reader and when I hooked it up it gave me a code for Cylinder 5 and cylinder 6 misfire and multiple cylinder misfire.

Your engine is missing? Where did you see it last? I have a hell of a time keeping up with my keys. Never lost the engine though.

So...P0305 and P0306, and P0300?

If its misfiring, i wouldnt want to drive it, anywhere. Neither should you. A misfire is bad news, for any engine. Misfire could be bad plugs, fuel, injectors, wiring, or the coil pack/rail, to name a few.
