Default engine louder than exhaust

my engine is louder than my exhaust. is there something i should check for in the engine bay that might need to be replaced? i can post a video later of the sound of it.

Stock exhaust?
check for cracks in manifold. Or your connection at your down pipe.

Sounds like maybe a pulley or pump is going bad, it's very whiney/screamy

The oil level is good right? Try to narrow down where the noise is coming from. Could be water pump, alternator, powersteering pump, or anything else driven by the belt

yeah, the oil level is fine. anyway that i could know if its any of those? dont want to end up replacing all of them. it sounds like it is coming from the front left side where the ac, fan, and alt are.

remove belt and try it see if it get quieter also alot of fan noise clutch fan still spin free or locked up ...

Theres a trick I learned from my dad. If you take a screw driver and put the head of it on the body of the a/c compressor, power steering pump, etc. and then put your ear on the other end of the screw driver you can actually hear the bearings inside and then you'll know if there bad or not.
