Default Engine help I'm stumped

This darn thing has me stumped and so many answers but not know were to narrow it down to. Between idle and 3000rpm it misses and bog and lacks power and the warmer it gets the worse it gets scrutiny so often it sucks air in from the exughts but after 3000rps it runs great and halls butt I've had people tell me its in my heads and I have people tell me its my computer and some tell me its my rings so please help I just don't have the money to get another motor or do a rebuild on it right now

Throttle Position Sensor is the main culprit

check your vacuum lines for leaks and refresh your grounds first before anything

Have you checked your coolant temp sensor ? It sound dumb but its send a signle to your computer telling it how much fuel to deliver based on temp of the motor. My buddys jeep did the same thing and it took us a couple weeks to figure it out. So I think ist worth a shot and its only like 12 bucks or so. Good luck hope you figure it out

I believe it's the one on the front that sends the signal to the ECU, the one on the back of the head is for the gauge. Please wait for someone to confirm that before spending any money.

You are correct, sir.

Edit, hell even pick a new one up at the auto parts store that has a warranty on it, pop it in, if it doesn't work, go return it and get your money back. You'll rule out a sensor by not spending any money except maybe a dollar or two in gas to and from the store.

Another edit, so after a year and a half, you still haven't figured it out? I just now looked at the dates on this thread.
