engine cutting out

Default engine cutting out

when i take a right turn kinda fast or sharp my engine cuts out for a second and than goes again. any idea? for example turin right at a intersection going about 15-20 mph with the lights green so not slowing down to a stop.

It is possible you have an issue in the colum,it could be shorting out the ignition switch.
I would look under the dash and see if you might be stretching some wires are maybe the colum is loose and shorting out inside.

My engine was shutting off because of a vad fuel filter probably not it but mine was litteraly doin the same thing hopefully its a 20 dollar fix like mine haha

humm well if was a short wouldnt the head lights or any other light dim out out or flicker or stereo turn off of a sec?... and how often sould the fuel filter be changed i changed it maybe 10k miles or so ago

You can have a short in the colum and not effect anything else,the lights other than the dimmer are not in the colum. I read recently where that actually happened to someone else that is what made me think of it.

alright ill check it out after work and see wh at i can find but its scary under there... theres wires going to plugs thats not pluged in anything everywere...
