Fule pump is my next step just need to find a psi guage to run to dash to check it. When i first start it it will idle fine, but once im out driving once what ever is going on starts if i take my foot off the gas while driving slow (around town, parking, ect) it dies. I have to hold the brake in so i can keep the throtle going so it wont die.

question about fule pump assembly.

My gas gauge bounces around from +F - +E when i fill it up till it hits about 1/2 tank then it stops. If i would replace the whole fule pump assembly w/ new filter as long as the old unit's guage worked would that fix my gas guage problem?

 

If you replace the sending unit with the fuel pump i would think it should fix that problem
