Default Engine Bay Clean Up Idea

So after watching Trucks and Truck U enough times it got me thinking. What do you guys think about taking the engine bay apart as in taking off the intake and exhaust manifolds, all electronics, and numerous things i cant think of right now. and painting the block along with the manifolds with VHT? Im sick of having a ugly engine bay so i think it needs some lovin. what do you guys think? anyone done this?

It's a lot of work? I have a hood that keeps all that hidden from me most of the time?

Really though I would love to do this. Just seems like too much work for something I don't see very often.

::sigh:: I wish my hood kept it all covered more often... seems like it spends more time up than down lately.

Wow I have never seen the underside of an XJ look that clean....really not even the underside of anything! I would lay awake all night long with a constant smile on my face if I knew my rig looked like that underneath...

The underside of an XJ should never look that clean. Do you tuck daisies in the trim next to your sideview mirrors too?

My XJ wiring was so miss ran before I bought it that I'll never do it.

But the next Jeep I will. Plans are in place to buy both a WJ and a YJ next year. Family rig and full blown trail rig..
