emergency break
ok i pulled my e brake lever up yesterday and didnt realize how hard i pulled
. i think i snapped something becuz the lever doesnt work it just goes up and down and my e brake wont engage. ny ideas?

Engine: 4.0 rebuilt w/ bored TB, banks header, upgraded ignition, 3 row rad, high flow h2o pump, 180* t-stat
go underneath and follow the e brake cable all the way back, from the bracket to the rear drums. if you snapped the cable you should be able to see it. on my E brake the spring inside the handle that locks the handle in place broke so it could be that. youd probably know tho cuz the button on the handle came off when mine broke. if its the handle...JY $20.
Stuck or broken cable---rear break shoes did not release or broken handle where the cable attaches these are about your only options. Time for an inspection of the cable and attachment locations and the shoes on the rear.
