So, I went to leave work yesterday, and like every other time, I put her in neutral, started her, and went to drop the e-brake handle. It went down fine, but as soon as I released the button, it shot out of the handle with the rod still attached to it.
From looking online, there's supposed to be a hook on the end that will sit on the release mechanism, and it shouldn't be too hard to find one.
The problem I'm running into is, after pulling the center console out to see what all was going on, I don't really see a way to remove the e-brake handle or even open it up to replace the bar that goes through the handle.
Any suggestions?

Thanks. :-)
