Electrical short caused by 12v port

Ok so first off I have a spot light I keep in my Jeep for camping trips (400,000 C.P.)...my little sister wanted to see how bright it was while I was working on my AC. she plugged it in but the light was already turned on. There was a click and a buzz, the light didn't come on. My door locks do not work now and set off my rear window wiper.
I can also hear a buzzing in my roof light. All my windows still go up and down, only by the driver's control ( always been like that). The vehicle drives like normal so I don't think it's a computer issue.
Checked all fuses, I'm not sure if a relay would be the problem. I feel like it shorted out something but I can't figure it out.

On an old Celica I had an unfused AUX wire short, get hot, and cut through the insulation of nearby wires. Odd coincidence it energized the wipers! Also it made allot of smoke. Glad I happened to look out the window and see my wipers going and all that smoke coming out.
I'm thinking that light drew enough current to get the wire to the socket hot enough to short to other wires. (a real crap's shoot). Might maybe cook a ground to something else. Just a thought anyway.
You do have fusable links somewhere. In my 90 there is a "fan" of about 5 off the same terminal. All I can say is yours might not be too far from the battery.

Well, for an update all I did was wait a week, plugged the stupid light in and turned it on. It didn't work in either port still but the next day my electrical was back to normal so idk what happened but it's "fixed". Thanks guys for the input it'll still give me grounds for when it really won't work!
