Electrical issue?
So yesterday the jeep decided not to start on me... Checked the voltage at the terminals and it read 12.5v. Put a tranquill charger on it and for some reason when I turned it on it said it was already charged.
This evening I ran the battery down to Advance and put it on there 35min rapid charger and charged the battery. Came home put the battery in and she started right up. I was pretty stoked that maybe it was just a dead battery until I realized the dome lights and dash lights started to flicker. I turned the truck off and than tried to restart it and had no luck.
Does anyone think this might just be the alternator or could it be something else? I have an aftermarket guage pod installed from the PO that has, water temp, oil pressure and voltage readings and it said I had 14v.
Bad thing is I'm asking this and I'm an electrician. Haha
