Exclamation Electrical ground problem

I have a 99 xj, i just put in a overhead console out of a 99 limited and everything works great but my headliner looked like crap so i just ripped the whole thing down. Everything was working still on the console and the radio because i was listening to it as i was doing this, but somewhere in the process my overhead lights, visor lights, stereo, and odomoter all have no power now. Can anybody PLEASE help me i dont know what to do i tried looking all over for the cause..

Looks like the Ignition Off Draw fuse in the PDC blew. Remove the cover from the PDC. The position of the IOD fuse is marked on the inside of the PDC cover.

This is exactly what it was! Thank you so much. I think it happened when i was removing the rear speaker bank from the roof. I didnt have a 15 amp fuse so i just put a 10 in it and its working great thanks!

When working on any electrical circuit in your XJ always remove the battery negative post connector no matter how simple you think the work will be.

That 25 Amp fuse could have been the Power Outlet or the Cigar Lighter fuse. The other 25 Amp fuse in the JB is for the Passenger Power Lock/Window Switch.

X2!

You got off easy this time, but you can fry some electronics with short circuits.
