electrical gremlins playing havoc with the indicators
i've got a bit of a funny problem with my indicators on my '98 Cherokee Sport.
Now and then the left indicator will start flashing at double the normal frequency. Normally this is an indication of a blown bulb. But all the bulbs are fine. So I think it's a grounding problem or a chaffed wire, possibly the relay. Only does it on the left/driver side of the Jeep.
I've cleaned all the electrical contacts, bulbs, plugs I can find. However, I can't find the common grounds. On the electrical diagram it shows there is a common ground but I have no diagram where these ground points can be found.
Any thoughts?
Just wanted to clean everything thoroughly, before i resort to swapping the relay. Because that will involve going to the junkyard, paying etc.
