I have an electric seat. It does not work and is shoved all the way forward. How do I move it without it working?

 

Unbolt the seat from the floor.. maybe you'll see a reason for it not working under there.

 

Try and hard wire it. Get a car battery under the seat is a two prong conector. Unplayit and touch two wires to the battery and then the prongs. .... It won't hurt anything I did it today to mine

 

My daughter put her 2002 Grand Cherokee seat all the way back to put on her shoes and the seat will not move more that 1/2" forward.

You can move the seat back.. Then forward just that small amount.


I looked at the rails and did not see anything in the front. Unfortunately with the seat all the way back I can not get access to the rear bolts to remove it.

Any suggestions?

 

Buy another electric base from me. Ill give you a good price

 

Explain how to get that motor out of there so i can move the seat up and I'll probably be buying a new motor.
