I didn't do a rad swap so I don't know about the swich in the new year rad and no air bubble in mine either. the only over heating I have is when I'm loaded down with camoing gear and pulling a good grade.

I'm putting the bye pass swich in now. Ran the wires yesterday. just got to mount the swich and I'm good to go.

Mine was disconected (wires cut ) when I bought it. the original wires should be down under your airbox coming out of the harnis by the fender if you want to try stock setup. Mine didn't work because the swich is shot and I don't want to mess with it. Just going to flip it on when the needle start to climb.
