Electric fan difference 96-99
im doing a search and was curious as what the main differences are between a 96 electric radiator fan and a 99? and can they be swapped?

I believe the difference is the blades. The pre 96s have only 6 blades and they switched to a 10 blade s curve fan in 97.
I just put a 97+ fan assembly on my 96 and it is a direct swap minus the plug, you have to cut the plug off your old fan and replace it on your new one. This new fan setup in my case is much better, quieter and seems to move more air.
