Your e-fan should turn on regardless of your AC coolant condition. If it will not turn on, you should look into replacing your e-fan relay or see if you have fuses that are blown.

I also have been searching for the correct thread for adding a toggle switch for my fan. I hooked a switch up to the white and black wires that go to the fan, jumped the wires on the a/c compressor and the switch still does not turn the fan on. I have found a couple threads on installing the switch, but have been unable to find the correct one again.

Okay then grab some inline blade style fuse holders, (2 of them) some 12 ga wire (about 10 feet worth) a 3 way splice and some shrink wrap/electrical tape.

Run constant power into the switch (using a fuse) then run that constant power out of the switch(using a fuse) and splice into the thick green wire that powers the fan. wrap it all up so nothing gets into the electrical connector. Bam your done.
off would just let it run like normal, on would force power to the e-fan.
Altho i do HIGHLY encourage a 3 way switch they are only $4/$5 bucks for a 30 amp
