Default Electric fan

Hello Jeepers!

I got (what I feel to be) a stupid question. I picked up an electric fan off a 94 cherokee for my 99. It all fits, sits well, etc... the only issue is the pigtail is different. Can I just use other connectors for this, or is this all not feasible and incompatible?

Just cut the connector off the old fan, and use it to replace the connector on the new fan using crimped butt connectors with heat shrink insulation.
