I have a 2001 cherokee sport..all stock...I've read the e-fan should kick on when ac is turned on..mine doess not...it never has..however it always kicks on when temp guage goes a tick above 210 degrees. I have had no overheating issues. Was wondering if I should look into why it doesn't turn on when ac is turned on?..or not worry about it?

 

Efan on '00-'01 only turn on when coolant temp reaches 218 and/or when a/c pressure reaches a preset psi. '99 down, efan turns on as soon as a/c compressor engages or temp reaches 218.
