Question EGR

Wow, I sound like a newbie...but, I'm having an issue. My '94 XJ didn't pass echeck (Click here). It seems to be pointing to the EGR or the Catylitic Converter. Here's the weird thing...I can't find the EGR valve. I got out my Haynes manual and I'm not seeing in my engine compartment what they're showing in the manual. I have a Cherokee Country model...not sure if that means anything or not. I know there were some differences in the Country model like no vent windows, no ABS, Chrysler 8.25 rear axle, etc... These are all differences from my '92 XJ Laredo. Oh yeah, and under the hood on the vacuum diagram it doesn't show an EGR. Is it possible I don't have one? That would sure help narrow things down a bit.

Cool

The levels of nox that you failed by are small, but in any case the cat needs to be replaced in order to lower the nox reading. Your truck should run around 359-580 nox with a new cat.
