So i got the kit used from a fellow cherokeeforum member for a good price, installed with ease, but now my idle is high.
even after the 10 minute of sitting i drove for about 20 minutes to come home and it sits at about 1100 RPMs and will do about 15 without hitting the gas
i went out redid all the connections to make sure they were tight and found out there were two sets of extra wires going to intake air temp sensor. they looked like they were there for a bit long length so i decided to see what would happen without them. well my idle went right back down to normal and the check engine light came on. i drove it around and it felt great and bit faster.
what could cause the engine light to stay on??

 

what exactly is a trailjammer kit.

 

Edge makes a kit of its throttle body, intake and programmer sorry should of specified!
but i took it to autozone to get the free diagnostic and got a P0113 or the Intake Air Temp Signal..
never had a problem with it before the kit, but im sure its due to get replaced any thoughts?

Could have got dirty when you re-installed it maybe take it out and clean it off?
