read somewhere that you can have your cherokee, (1997 or newer) you can have your pcm or ecu updated too new fuel curves and timing at the dealership
is this true? anybody ever done it? how much roughly is it? any difference?
My jeep runs like a top, but if there is a "software update" i would like to have it
maybe its one of those "if it aint broke, dont fix it" deals

Take your VIN number to the dealer and have them run the numbers. They should be able to tell you whether there is an update or not. If it isn't a recall, there will be a charge. You may be better off to get a ODB II flash/code reader unit.
