Any one have any experiance with em? Tie rods, ball joints etc. I know it not going to be Moog quality but how the quality for the price?

 

 

Remember you get what you pay for, and do you really want to go cheap on steering parts. This and your brakes are two areas of your vehicle where quality is everything.

Genuine MOOG only. The few dollars you might save otherwise won't be worth the difference.

 

Well I have listed some of those types of parts on Ebay. For me, I purchased the parts expecting to make the repair, and either did not need to do the repair or could not do the repair myself and paid a shop to do it for me, who was going to charge more if they used my part (even though it was the same exact part... manufacturer and all).

I just tried to sell brand new ball joints (2 upper and 2 lower) [TRW 10458 and TRW 10459] on Ebay for very cheap. $100 for all 4 ball joints. You get these same parts or similar parts from pretty much any vendor (pep boys, advance auto parts, napa) for about twice the price.

Sometimes you can get a steal of a deal on Ebay in situations like mine, where I have the parts, cannot return them since I held on to the parts for greater than 90 days after I purchased them because I didnt have the time to do the repair. I dont want to throw them away, so am selling them at a fire sale price. Just make sure you ask for pictures before purchasing parts on ebay.

2 upper ball joints (Part: TRW 10458) Asking $25 per ball joint plus shipping...$50 for the pair plus shipping (should be about $5 using flat rate shipping). Retail is twice that. Each includes: 1 Ball Joint, 1 Cotter Pin and Nut, 1 grease nipple.

2 lower ball joints (Part: TRW 10459) Asking $25 per ball joint plus shipping...$50 for the pair plus shipping (should be about $5 using flat rate shipping). Retail is twice that. Each includes: 1 Ball Joint, 1 Cotter Pin and Nut, 1 grease nipple.

Sway bar frame bushing kit (Part: TRW HB1745) Asking $25 for the kit plus shipping. Each includes: 2 black sway bar bushings.

Valeo Clutch Kit (Part: Valeo W0133-1605019) Asking $90 plus shipping. The kit includes: 1 Pressure Plate, 1 Clutch Disc, 1 Pilot Bearing, 1 Throw out Bearing, 1 clutch disc alignment tool.
