E-brake question.

i'm going to be going up to about 4.5 and the emergency brake cable is pretty tight now at 3 inches. i was wondering if i could relocate it or do i need to get an extended one? thanks guys

look into using 2 passenger side yj emergency brake lines. they are longer than the drivers side. so plenty of cable for lifted xj's.
the only mod you'll have to do is lengthen the adjuster rod for your existing xj brake rod. there are a couple of different ways to achieve this. you could cut and weld on another chunk from a parts xj, or use a threaded sleeve and lock nuts to join the two pieces together. either way, it's very easy and simple to do this, and you will have plenty of cable to work with. so no worries of burning your cable from stretching across your muffler. you'll just have to tie the cables up against the floor so they don't just hang down.

does it matter what year of cables to get becuase i have a 90 with the dana 35?
