hey guys im new to the forum and this looked like the place to ask about my emergency brake. When its engaged on level ground it works fine, even when my 92 sport is facing downhill it works. But when facing up hill it rolls back almost like thers no resistance. i've gotten under it and tightened up the cable going to the brakes but that hasnt help much(slight improvement since but nothing really noticable)

 

have you tried adjusting the brake shoes out back (assuming you have drum rears)

E brakes don't work as well going back wards. but it should hold on a slight incline. I agree with adjust/check rear brakes.
