No, now put those side cutters back in the tool box.
Why?

Well you could cut em. That is quick but they are then done. Do your cables flex with the axle? I have mine hung on light springs from local hardware store, they bob up and down under there as the axle moves. There may come a time on trail when you want to use that break, sometimes just a little break to help the dif lock think there is traction when everything is splippin and spinnin or just to hold you in a precarious situation. If you can get them to work, keep em. If you can disassemble the brake drums, then just pull them out intact and store them for future condsideration.

yeah, what ^ he ^ said.

if they are too short, you can use two right side yj lines. they are much longer, but you would need to do a slight mod to the adjuster rod tho. but well worth the effort.

Ok, first off, enough of this(((((((((((((crap))))))))))))), and second, don't hack things up just because. Remove the cable and keep it on hand incase you decide to sell your rig, it will make it easier for the next sucker that has to fix all of your half assed repairs.

I guess you can.

But then your e-brake won't work.
