How does it sound on the expressway? Drone? Annoying?
I've got a cherry bomb now but starting end of summer I'm going to be taking a 6 hour ride down to SIU for school, so the cherrybomb will be coming off...

Its basically just a touch louder than stock which is what I liked about it. The $$$ was also a factor. So if you just want a little more this is a good replacement.
I've had all the loud exhaust creations throughout time on all my cars ( I'm 50) and now I'm into a little less noise .
If I want a really annoying loud exhuast I'll just tell my wife I spent MORE money on the Jeep !!

Did you guys weld the pipes together or just slip them over each other??
What is the best way to tell that your exhuast system is worn out? I just got a new to me '96 which may still have the OEM system. I was looking around under the Jeep last night and noticed some rust on the tailpipe, and the rear hanger is not connected anymore.
So is it time to replace and is this a good replacement for OEM system?
