What dummy lights are supposed to turn on when I put the key in the on position? How about when I start it up? I have the dash with tac/speed/oil pressure/temp/batt/fuel cluster.

 

low washer,seat belt,check engine,and an ^ if you have a 5spd lol

they should all go out when you start it if all is ok

 

no 5-speed. I have the AW4... I'm just wondering if my CEL has been disabled. When I turn the key to on, the seatbelt light and the GEN light come on. When I start it up the seatbelt light is the only one that stays on for a few seconds. I know the washer fluid light works, cause when I get down to a half bottle it'll come on going over bumps or around corners. So that one must not come on with the key on? The only one I am unsure about is the CEL I guess...

 

Ok, just read in my manual that the ABS and CEL are to come on and shut off, they don't come on at all. I know the ABS works as I've felt it engaging going down a hill too fast. The regular brake light does come on for a second then goes off. How do you check the bulbs on them? or is there a fuse for the ABS or CEL?
