Default Dumb Headlamp question.
Can you just change the bulb or do you have to change the whole assembly? Thanks

Stock XJ headlights are sealed beam bulbs. The assembly is the bulb.

The bulbs aren't expensive. H6054s are like $10. Changing it is only a couple Philips head screws.

Just order some autopal e-code housings on ebay, with those you just swap out the readily available h4 bulbs. Better light output and pattern too. Love mine, with the harness upgrade.
