For electric fans MY THOUGHTS I would want at the least 2800-3000 cfm. I think that fan is to high our rad are only 11 5/8 high summit has some low pros small enough for the rad remember you want a puller a/c hook up and temp switch maybe 2500 cfms might be enough. Also try these guys FF DYNAMICS .

Correct 10' are the max blade size + plastic cage they barely fit. 2500 is more than enough, a v8 uses 1200-1600 in most cases. Get a fan with the max cfm you can but watch the amps drawn. I used 3 10" Derale fans in my 92 pulled 3600 cfm @ 15 amps

The 3 fans totaled 15 amps. The factory fan is bigger but aftermarket fans don't come with the larger shroud assembly. After market fans must be against the radiator because of this. The factory rad height is alittle less than 12" plus you have to consider the cage assembly which only allows for a 10" fan.

The factory fan sits away from the rad. and uses a plastic shroud to pull the air through the rad.. After market fan do not have any plastic other than the cage so the must be placed against the rad or it wont pull air through it

the stock electric fan is in a custom case allowing proper airflow a aftermarket fan must be mounted tight to the rad a ten inch fits best 12 will fit but a portion of the fan will be below the rad therefore losing effect and would prob be less effective than a ten i have two 10 inch pulling 1500cfm each never had any probs

It's the same size, but I included the shroud too. The fan he's looking at is 11 1/2" high, that's why I asked why it wouldn't work. After seeing 2 10" fans in, I can see what you guys mean. I want to do this on my 00 just for better air flow.

use pushers like this and then you dont need to worry about shrouds or crowding the already cramped engine bay.

THere is actually a major problem with them set up.

When you are going down the freeway it they are on the actually work against the air flow. If they are off now you have 2 big plastic pieces blocking air flow...

Pusher fans are meant of different applications then out our cherokees.

Pushers work great for intown but on the highway they will work against the cooling system
