Drum Brakes - extra parts
I am replacing the shoes on my XJ and some of the parts in the kit are different from what's on my XJ, i am sure they are equivalent and will go on somewhere but i can't quite work out where. Anyone any ideas?
here is a pic of my drums
here is a pic of the parts which i can't work out where they should go.

The springs go on the park brake strut, forward brake end. Not sure about c clips and washer, but They might be on the park brake arm where it attaches to shoe ?

Just thinking... if you're new to this whole working on cars thing, and we all were once... might be a good idea to DL the YouTube APP and watch a few videos before tearing apart your brakes. When a lot of us started we only had books with crappie pictures to learn from, or a drunk uncle. You can get a lot of tips and tricks online from videos. And.... never watch just one. Some guys don't know what they're doing.
Good luck, have fun, and welcome to the forum.
