Say a man wanted to make his own lower control arm drop brackets, is there any previous plans/dimensions made? Also how would one find caster angles and center axle under rig to make upper drop brackets for 7.5 inch lift? Any help would be great!

ive looked for plans to build my own. they arent out there and not to much help from people that own them. what i caught is that they are 3in dow and 1/2 forward. I found someone that is guna let me borrow there rcs to let me model them but dunno when thats guna happen. but if you do make your own follow the 3 down and 1/2 forward then use these control arm lengths

If you plan on building the brackets you should be able to build a mid arm or long arm set up for about the same price, plus it would work better if you plan on maintaining the 7.5" lift (I would lower it personally)

im guna build them for temp. my jeep needs to be highley functionall for a memorial day event. hopfully by the labor day event i will have long arms done. And i drive my jeep every day/350 miles a week
This write up doesn't have the dims for the brackets, but it has a good chart showing the control arm lengths for needed for stock, RE and RC at different heights.

wow thanks for links they will deffinitly help. I agree flex joints and even DOM is expensive. I can get material for brackets free. The other reason im looking at drop brackets is I can maintain 4link setup. Long arm is great except 3 link. God forbid you break something your really screwed. 4 link if you break a link you can still drive it home. Think its going to be a good summer project. Only have 4.5 inch lift currently but want to boost it at least to 6 inches to help stuff 33s. Goodluck to all!
