Default Drivetrain issues

I was driving home from Las Cruces the other night and as I turned into my driveway it felt like my 4wd was trying to engage or something. Kind of like a rough grinding sound. I parked and tried to engage through 4h and low but the linkage felt jammed. I replaced the hubs this morning since I had a new set on hand and everything on the front axle feels fine except when I turn the wheels, I can feel a clicking two or three times per turn. I know the T-case linkage needs adjusting for sure but what about the clicking?

Sorry for the long story, any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

Check the gears in your front diff for chunking and binding in the bearings.

Opened up the front diff...looked fine...big problem though, went to change t-case fluid and there was none to change...I know i topped it off around 6 months ago so I must have blown a seal and seized the case...no bueno

Filled the T-case with fluid and it started leaking from a small crack in the bottom...Cracked t-case = new t-case...correct?

u dont need a new one if the back housing piece is cracked u can just go to a junkyard and get a new housing piece and put it on and save u a lot of money and problems. i had a crack in my housing and replaced the back half where the crack was and i havent had any issues and it cost me 20 bucks to fix and took about 2 hours

Thats exactly what I had in mind...I was gonna take it out and check to make sure the chain is ok...hopefully I can just get away with replacing the back housing....Thanks for the heads up.

But I am worried that the transfer case has **** itself, pardon my french. Being that the lever is seized and the noises it made when driving didn't sound too encouraging...I'll post a picture of the case with the housing off and see what you guys think.
