see if you can find a shop that repairs drive shafts you may be able to have it lengthened for 50 bucks

how about you try a 1" transfer case drop , all you need is 1" steel square tubing , drill some holes and longer bolts , i have 6.5" lift and really cant understand why your having an issue like that

it will help... you shouldnt be pulling your driveshaft out that easily i dont think... do the 2in transfer case drop for now so you can keep it on the road... and start saving for the Hack-N-Tap on ebay for $200... you can install it yourself pretty easy and itll fix your problems more so... then you can go back to a 1in drop or no drop transfer case...

or maybe just take the blocks out for now till u can save some more money... or install wedges that aim your rear axle up towards the tranny... this giving better angle and alittle more length...

also take a measurment of your driveshaft while its out... and go to a JY and look for a longer one from a ZJ or a different XJ... they had different lengths depending on what axles and stuff... u might can get one longer for $20 and be done with it...
