Default Driveshaft question

Ok this might sound silly but I'll try it anyway. I have a old front driveshaft from a zj at my house and a old yoke from a NP-231 also. I put the double u-joint side on the yoke side of the xj yoke and it fit good. If I have the driveshaft shortend would it work for a daily driver. I know a sye is the way to go but I'm trying to do something with what I have. I'm having a vibration at 65+ mph so this is what I'm trying to get rid of. I have a 4.5 lift with a 1" transfer case drop. Any help would be great thanks.

you basically made a sye with what you did already. your high speed vibration would be tire balance issue. i made my sye from a lengthened rear shaft it works great and only cost 30 bucks for the driveline (from jy) and 30 bucks to have it lengthened. my vibration was worst at low speed while accelerating. I dropped the t-case an inch and put that driveline in. good luck!
