Default driveshaft help...

hey guys I have a 4x4 jeep xj with a ax-15. Well since I'm into jeepspeed & never use 4wd, I wanted to convert to 2wd.

Well long story short. I got a 2wd Nv3550(?) out of a 2000 jeep xj..At least thats what I was told. Anyhow it didn't come with a shaft. So I ordered a ax-15 2wd shaft & it didn't fit over the output shaft??? It like to small or something!

Whats going on here? Are the output shafts different between the ax-15 & nv3550? Do I need a shaft for the NV or what? I'd hate to have to send this guys shaft back to him because it didn't work!
