Hey guys. Yet another problem with the Jeep that has been a problem for a while. My window is stuck on the drivers side and won't roll down. I removed the door panels and found the problem. A metal rod or pipe was wedged up in between the glass and the door! I cannot figure out what that piece goes to and I can't get it out or move it more than an inch. Once it was out of the way enough to un-jam the window, the stupid motor just turns on and the window doesn't move. There is a coil looking piece that fell out but is still attached on one end. My Chilton manual hardly mentions the windows or anything anywhere, and the small amount in there was no help. Sorry for all the unclarity, but here are some pics....
