I would replace both front flex lines anyway. They are 16 years old now and it's cheap insurance on preventing brake failure with a ruptured line.

Thanks for this tidbit. I've replaced almost everything in the brake system on mine and still occasionally have problems with one of the calipers sticking. I'll have to check this weekend.
