Any ideas welcome. I've got a 1998 Sport 2WD, Auto. The power door locks work on all the doors, except the front left (driver's). From the driver's door I can lock/unlock all doors except the driver's door. From the passenger door I can lock/unlock all doors except driver's door. I recently installed a universal keyless entry in place of the factory one because I bought the car with no key fobs. The keyless entry works well and locks/unlocks all doors except the driver's door. I believe it was working for the driver's door when I first installed it, but now I'm second guessing that. I confirmed that the driver's door lock actuator works with 12V applied. There is just no power at the connector. My question is this. Where does the driver's door lock actuator get its power from? When the lock button is pressed on the driver's door, does it first go over to the passenger side and then back? I'm willing to take apart the wiring loom running through the A-pillar to see if a wire is broken, but not if that doesn't make sense given all the info above. Thanks

 

Just to close out my own thread, it turns out both door lock actuator wires inside the loom were broken. Broken inside the rubber boot that goes between the door and the A-pillar.
