Gpeade, firestorm, thenning, and anyone else i missed that replued to my thread, thanks so much for the input. Thenning I found this link yesterday and was going to put something about the rivets on here today, I can't express how nice everyone on this forum is. I haven't been a member for very long at all and I know I'll be on here for years to come. I don't see me getting any other type of vehicle either, Lol. I'll post some pics and and info when I start changing it out I'll use this thread but I can't say when I'll be doing this yet. But it will be done! Again thanks to all. Keep posting if u all have more info for me.
:-)

Can anyone answer if the orange thing that I'm holding in the pic is broken? Or is it just detached? :-/

No offense taken. But looking at the picture, it looks like it sheared off.

Good to check first, though.

So he's going to have to replace the regulator anyway.

Instead of replacing it could I do the replacement kit that was mentioned??? Like I said I'm not very mechanically inclined, however! I am good with my hand and projects as such... I think I could handle it. Has anyone used that or anything? Also I wanted to mount a buck knife and sheath under my dash or beside the drivers side seat....any thoughts?

yes you can do the replacement kit....your window motor still works when you hit the power window switch right?

Yes the thing I posted a picture of on the first page moves in and out when I use the switch. This means I can use the replacement kit? That would be awesome! The regulators are just so expensive......
