Driver Window won't roll up

Driver Window won't roll up

I have a 98 xj and have power to the other three windows from the driver door panel. They all go up but the driver Window. I've checked all the fuses and all are fine power windows and blinkers and everything else works beside the driver Window.

My 98 did same thing on pass side. Mine was a broke regulator. They are not cheap, about $150 each.

I heard that broken regulators make a crunching sound. Mines completely silent.

Did you try swapping out the window switch with one of the other working ones?

good chance the switch is bad. Had the same issue on rear driver window. Yesterday I got pissed so I pulled up on the switch and I jiggled it on and off and it works now. Plus it's a free test
