Default driver window?

00 cherokee Sport. Power windows, and mirrors. Driver window won't roll up unless i bend the **** out of the wires and move them all around. Obv, bad connection somewhere but Ive taken it apart and cleaned everything, put it all back together... Any ideas?

Also every now and then the door lock switch will unlock, but not lock the doors, and I can roll don all the windows from the driver side, but none of the passenger doors window switches work...

NEED SOME HELP it's raining and my window is halfway down.

thanks in advance.

I've seen copper wires brake from flexing between the frame and the door. Maybe your issue? Sometimes you can feel the brake through the insulation. Just doesn't feel right.

Also I've seen the switch ruined because it is in the rain when the door is open.....

Theirs a good writeup on here, google search jeep xj window switch repair. Thiers one that actually shows and gives pics on what to do, stay away from the one that shows you how to "complete the circut" with a paper clip ._.
