i have a 98 Cherokee classic and it just started leaking water on the driver side floor i cant tell where the carpets just gets wet when it sits in the rains

 

door seal sit in truck have someone use a garden hose around drivers side of truck

 

well its mostly on the inside (far away from the door) and in front of the seat

 

Look at your floorpans. My 2000 does that because it has a hole rusted through it. Next thing on my list right after the holy rocker panel.

 

no rust on the underside and its just from siting i haven't been driving it all day and i dried it out last night

 

Mine does that on the passenger side. Not sure why though..

 

there are post about leaks on the passenger side from the heater core or a clogged ac drain line but nothing about the driver side i was thinking it was coming from one of the firewall holes or something but its starting from the back to the front it seams and mostly on the inboard side of the foot well next to the shifters dose the carpet come up easly or would is it all glued down
