I've spent hours reading other threads on leaking in the floor boards but I didn't see anything on what I am experiencing. I have a leak on the Drivers side floor board that comes from the seam under the trim panel. I have attached photos below. Should there be seam sealer between the panel under the hood? Am I missing a drain that could be clogged leading to this? I want to fix the correct way so I don't create another issue. Seems like It would just pool water in the corner if I add seam sealer because of the low spot.
Water is entering on the drivers side to the right of the master brake cylinder in the corner.
Arrow is pointing to where the water is entering. No water intrusion on the wiring harness or the hood latch grommet. It seems to be leaking through the low spot between the firewall and inner fender.
The water is exiting here on the seam and running into the driver side floor panel.
Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance for any guidance!
