So I just bought a 99 cherokee sport and the biggest cosmetic issue I have is the driver side gutter molding thats supposed to held down with clips is missing.

I could go to the junkyard and try to find another one but was just wondering if anyone up here has ever just removed them entirely and just sanded and painted the gutters.

If you have how did it come out looking?

 

My '98 sport never came with any molding. Everything is painted body color. I would rip it off and paint it.
