Default drive shaft length

i am puting a 6.5" lift with a SYE on my xj and want to have a dependable driveshaft in the rear. i have no idea how to find out what length i neep prior to installing the kit and SYE. I have herd of swaping the front CV shaft to the back but i dont see how that would hold up very long with it being so much smaller in diameter. is there any way to know what length you need and if so is it going to have to be custom or can I pick one up at the local junk yard?

The front drive shaft is made from solid bar stock. That is why it is smaller. It is small, strong, and much more expensive to manufacture. It is on the front for space saving and the capability to have a cv joint on the t-case side. I highly doubt strength would be an isssue.
