Went on a long highway trip yesterday, and it was warm and humid. We used the AC a good bit. There was a slight drip on the passenger's left foot. The temp gauge never got over 210, the Jeep was not overheating. Was this AC related? Isn't there a drain tube for condensation that sometimes gets clogged? I once had brand new Nissans that did this. Any ideas?

 

your A/C drain tube is clogged. look under the passenger side by the fire wall you will see a rubber hose hanging down. take a pice of stiff wire and slowly slide it in. just be careful when you hit the clogg the water will start pouring out. dont get soaked. this happened to me yuck!

 

id say condensation tube is clogged, or a leaky heater core.

smell the liquid that is dripping, and if it smells like coolant, time to replace the heater core.

if it doesnt have a smell, i would run a hose on the outside of your jeep for a while and make sure your winshield, and the rest of your body seals are good.

if no leaks, turn on your jeep and crank on the ac. see if thats when you get the leak........thats how i would go about it.
