Drippin water please help??
Im new to jeeps have always had honda civics lol. well i just bought a 97 cherokee and noticed that there is water slowly dripping when the rig is parked but its not all the time. I looked under there and its coming from the passenger side almost under the oil filter but its coming from somwhere and drippin out the frame through a hole. i thought it might be condensation but tonight there was enough dripping to make it run out from under it. i dont think its coolant because the level in the resivor hasnt changed. any ideas??

sounds like a similar problem i had with my 95 limited 4.0, i thought my level wasnt changin but i think the level had got that low it didnt even take anymore out of the res, she used to chuck water everywhere, turned out the water pump seals had gave out & one water pump later problem fixed. it would be worth checking round your water pump for signs ( usually brownish water stains )

put white cardboard down (from like the post office) and let it drip onto it.
then pull that out and inspect the liquid. if it smells like a duck, if it walks like a duck, its probably a duck. Or in my Jeeps case, a Cow...dont ask. haha
